Born in Belgium, Caroline Sterckx grew up around horses and began competing as a show jumper at the age of 8. By the age of 12, she had joined the National Belguim Pony Team and at 16, she moved to the world-renowned stables of Nelson Pessoa and joined the Junior National Belgian Team. Caroline has trained with some of the top trainers in the world, including Rodrigo and Nelson Pessoa, Jos Kumps, and Gilles Bertrand de Ballanda.

Currently, Caroline resides in Los Angeles where she is the director of the San Pascual Riding School.
